Magnetic Menu Board

I have been wanting to make a menu board for quite some time. I feel that it will help my sanity with grocery shopping and help eliminate the ever so popular...."What's for Dinner?"...... I got the magnetic board from an awesome company called Allie Kelly Frame Co. Then, I ordered the vinyl month grid from a great company called Style with Vinyl.  A few posts back I saw cute magnets made out of lids and thought.....I can do something cool with those and so our menu board was created!

Here's How I made it.

These are the supplies I started with. I used tomato sauce can lids. I have a can opener from Pampered Chef
that makes the lids nice and pretty with no sharp edges. I made a cute design using a digital scrapbook kit and
then printed them 2 on a 4x6 at Costco for 0.13 each. Total was $1.97

Then, I spray painted the lids. Glued the circles and the magnets on. Then, I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the "What's for dinner?" and all I need to do is cut out the days of the week and I'll be done.

My kids just love it!!!
